Eligibility
Any woman 18 years or older is eligible for membership in the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, and who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War. This would be one who served as a sailor, soldier, civil officer, was a recognized Patriot, or who rendered material aid for the cause of American independence. A chapter registrar is available to assist with the application process.
What We Do
The NSDAR is a volunteer service organization, dedicated to education, historic preservation, and patriotism. Daughters regularly volunteer in community schools, museums, hospitals, churches, and other local civic organizations.
